#onthisdayAugust 13th, 2020 – Israel and the United Arab Emirates agree to bilateral agreements of diplomatic relations as part of a deal for Israel to withdraw annexation plans.

.

Yet another historic US-brokered peace agreement has been reached between Israel and a neighboring Arab state – the first being Egypt in 1979 and second being Jordan in 1994.

.

These news come at a time of heightened tensions between Israel and neighboring terrorist factions, Hamas and PIJ, who have condemned the move from the United Arab Emirates.

.

For the last year and more intensively the last 3-4 days, Hamas has been actively sending Molotov and IED bomb-attached balloons into Southern Israel. Entire fields have gone aflame and communities of Israeli Jews, Muslims, and Christians are at risk as Israel struggles to maintain this adaptation of terror from Gaza.

.

Regardless of their efforts, Israel and the UAE continue to push forward in their aims to build bridges of diplomacy, business, and security.

.

At this point, the only question remains who will be next?
