#onthisday, 2019, two terrorists influenced by the antisemitic Black Hebrew Israelite group descended on a kosher market in Jersey City and killed 3 people, including a police officer killed prior to the attack at a different location.

We mourn the lives lost on this day one year ago, Zichron Livracha (slide 4)

We also call attention to the increasing rate of hate crimes in the US towards Jews – the highest its ever been according to the FBI. Its on us to recognize these tragic events are a symptom of a bigger problem – the virus of antisemitism is ever so present and to stamp it out we must be vigilant, strong, and proud.
